Lightened Conductor

Lightened Conductor is a movement-responsive piece of Wearable Technology.

Lightened Conductor is a wearable technology project that mixes fashion design, physical computing and coding.

This project was about creating an interactive piece of garment that gave a twist to a certain type of show. Lightened Conductor is a suit with a bright sleeve that changes colours according to an orchestra conductor's hand gestures and movements.

This garment transforms an arguably old-fashioned and sober show into a playful spectacle of lights. Furthermore, the suit could serve as a visual cue for large orchestras to pay special attention to the emotional tints that orchestra conductors want to add to music pieces.

There is no VFX added to the presentation video. The whole project was done with an Arduino Lillypad and an accelerometer.
