The Honey Armature is a piece of wearable technology that criticises the human destruction of the bees' ecosystem, mainly by pesticides. The garment portrays this problem through a piece of wearable technology that turns off its lights once it detects pollution in the air.

The shape of this wearable technology grabs inspiration from the hexagonal shape of honeycombs, which is light and dynamic. The lights inside The Honey Armature look for replicating the colour of honey in a pattern that fades between yellow and red lights, creating orange highlights through the arm. Furthermore, the coding behind the lights creates the illusion that honey is flowing through the sleeve of the person wearing The Honey Armature. An air pollution sensor is attached to a honeycomb necklace, which is attached to the arm. As soon as the sensor in the necklace detects pollution in the air, it quickly turns all the lights on the arm off.

There is no VFX added to the presentation video. The whole project was done with an Arduino Lillypad and an pollution sensor.
