FlexPOS
FlexPOS is a UI/UX design project that proposes a redesign of a POS system.
POS systems tend to be optimised only for the accounting side of hospitality businesses without considering the interface that waiters use to manage the restaurant service. The lack of attention to this interface's design results in uncountable problems for the user experience, which translate into a poor performance within the hospitality bussiness.
This project proposes a redesign targeted to the main users of this interface: the waiters.
FlexPOS aims to facilitate the waiters' job by proposing an interface that solve most of the common issues that waiters go through during service such as time-tracking, task management, poor communication with the kitchen or customers' unexpected behaviours.
