AI Roleplays Interface Re-Design

A UI/UX project for Engoo.com

Engoo.com is a platform that allows students to improve their English skills through one-on-one, 25-minute lessons. With 9,091 tutors from 113 countries and over 11,000 lesson materials catering to various needs and interests, Engoo presents a flexible and accessible option for online English learning.

This year, Engoo released a new feature called AI Roleplays, where users can practice their conversation skills by engaging in a roleplay with an AI tutor.

Although the AI Roleplays feature was functional, its design was not keeping up with the emerging competitors. The interface's was affecting not only the user perceived value but also the overall user experience.

This UI/UX case showcases how we re-designed the AI Roleplays chat interface to meet the current users' needs.
